All that is public melts into air (2025)

TITLE

All that is public melts into air (2025)

DESCRIPTION

Continuing the critique of speculative housing failures, this second iteration of ATIPMIA sought to reverse, rather than merely resist, the stigma and dislocation facing the Atherton Gardens community. Students investigated the entanglement of human and non-human histories to propose alternatives to cadastral definitions of community. The studio culminated in the production of drawings, collages, and renders alongside digital and physical models, utilising reflective journals to document site visits, studio esquisses, and dialogues with invited speakers.
